Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our online shop, click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on “Order” and you will be asked for a few details that we need to satisfy your order.
Payment Details
We accept the following forms of payment:
- Visa and Mastercard credit cards, Visa Delta, Connect, Solo, Switch and Electron debit cards via Google Checkout.
- Personal and business cheques (please allow 7 working days clearance)
- Payment direct into our Lloyds TSB bank account (account details on request). Cash paid into any LloydsTSB branch (over the counter) will normally reach our account same working day, so there will be no delay in processing the order.
- Payment by cash or postal order (sent by special delivery through the Post office). Goods will be generally be despatched on same day as receipt.
So we can reserve stock and watch for payment, we would require advance notice of any payments by cheque, cash, postal order or payments into our bank.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT the following: WESTERN UNION or ANY CARD REGISTERED OUTSIDE THE UK (APART FROM IRELAND).
Shipping And Handling
All our products are despatched via City Link courier or Post Office recorded delivery, with insurance cover for any unlikely damage or loss. The courier will deliver next day after despatch Monday to Friday 8.00 to 5.30 (except NI and some remote parts of the UK which is normally a 48 hour delivery). We cannot specify a time but you have the option of paying an extra fee to guarantee a delivery before 13:00 (Mon-Fri) or on a Saturday.
The standard carriage cost added to the order in the shopping cart is for delivery to most parts of the UK. Some areas of the UK and Northern Ireland either incur more carriage cost or cannot be guaranteed next day delivery. We will advise you when this is the case.
Republic of Ireland - We can deliver to Ireland but please email us first for details and cost of despatch. You will have to use a credit/debit card registered to the delivery address or make payment direct into our bank account.
Delivery Schedule
We deliver your order as soon as possible. We will normally send your order to you between 3-5 business days (UK mainland).
If you require urgent delivery or someone is staying in to receive a delivery please email/telephone us.
Also if you require an exact day because someone is staying at home specially please call/email if you do not receive an email with a delivery date.
Credit Card Security
We use Google Checkout to process all payments. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach the Google Checkout computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Extended warranties
Extended warranties are available on all desktop computers & laptops. Please email or call for details. If you return a computer under warranty and there is no hardware fault we reserve the right to charge a 10% handling fee. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.
We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.
We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future.
The type of information we will collect about you includes:
• your name
• address
• phone number
• email address
• credit/debit card details
• how you found our web site
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date.
You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law and the Which? Web Trader Code. If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first. If you have any questions/comments about privacy, you should email us. Data collected by this site is used to:
a) Take and fulfill customer orders,
b) Enhance the site and service,
c) Issue a unique identifier (e.g. customer login),
d) Only disclose information to third-parties for the purpose of delivering goods.
